Maropeng forms part of the Cradle of Human Kind and is the primary center for the Tumulus Building which has numerous displays about human- kind’s origins.
Due to its proximity to Johannesburg it is an ideal location to spend a few hours in the mornings photographing the array of highveld bird species.
