African Safari | Flap-necked Chameleon | Kruger National Park | Wildlife Photography
A Flap-necked Chameleon crosses the road in the Kruger National Park. Seemingly oblivious to the fact that it is no longer camouflaged against the backdrop of the gravel road.
Only once it reached the opposite side of the road and the thick cover of the foliage did it scurry off with haste.
Its opportunities like these that make wildlife photography interesting and a great way to experience South Africa's game parks, either on an organized safari or as a self drive wildlife tour. At http://www.photodestination.com we have mapped many of the great photographic destinations in South Africa http://www.photodestination.co.za/photography-locations-map
This is a great resource to use when planning your wildlife photography safari in South Africa.
